Reliability Research
A while back I was invited to participate in a "Reliability Research" project. I have been having fun with this and want to encourage all to check it out at:
http://www.truedelta.com/reliability.php
So you may ask, what does partticipating provide???
Participants report repairs the month after they occur on a one-page survey. When there are no repairs, they simply report an approximate odometer reading four times a year, at the end of each quarter.
One of the benefits is if you respond to not only their monthly reports and also take part in surveys, you can earn Amazon.com dollars as gift certificates.
One of the things I like is that their surverys are not sent out too often - about two or three a month, so you do not get bogged down in filling out online surveys!
However, if you do not consistently report your monthly repairs, you can get dropped from the panel. Odometer reporting normally requires just one click and entering your odometer reading. If you do constantly report, you have access to reliability reporting for not only your vehicle year/make/model, but also all the data on their website. Non-participants pay to access this data!
