Wanting to make my back glass removable in my 2 door jk hardtop.. any pointers

 

jscherb has been working on some great options for removable glass panels as well as alternatives to glass (snap in plastics, slide-open, etc.). He also created a write-up for how to modify your factory hardtop to make it modular with the rear window panels (including fiberglass) removable. That sounds more like what you're after.
