Default Removing the black material around the sport bars

Who removed the black material around the sport bar?

How is the quality of the paint on the sport bars?

What do you do for hiding the electrical wires?

I removed mie to see if mine was painted. It's an od green with silver specles.( I own a silver 4 door) Most peoples aren't painted fully either. They have some coating on them to prevent rust but they are not painted black or to match. didn't pay attention to the wires so I can't help with that. I just leave mine on.

My '07 4-door isn't painted between the rear seat and the tailgate. The rest looks fine. I haven't heard of anybody having a JK that came with a fully painted rollbar. I've had painting the rollbar on my to-do list for 3 years now, maybe someday I'll get to it!

In the last 2 years, I saw a few members with the material removed. Nice look, but I want to know more details

I had my rear section off for a while, but ended up putting it back on a few weeks later.

My Jeep is black, and wait painted about half way up with green on top. The only wiring was to the soundbar on the passener side. I took out the sound bar and just hide the wires back into the plastic area below the door surround on the cage.

I tried to remove the front area but I didn't want to rip it and I would have had to take out the front bars to get it out. So, I just left it in.

About 2-3 weeks later I put everything back in.

I am pretty sure that is run down the side, under the carpet. At least that is the way mine is on a 2009.
