It is a star looking tool, that is available at your local hardware store that has forms like a screw driver, a ratchet attatchment, or maybe even a bit.

Just be sure you hold onto the front doors when you take the straps/wiring harness off - don't just let it swing open. That mirror causes one heck of a ding! Many of us have one, some even have one on each side

and remember to take the straps wiring off first!!!!

I am one who has the door dings on each side. You also might need a t-40 it allows you to take the windshield bolts out as well as the hard top bolts for those of us with them. By the time you price both you may as well get a whole set. I did and got a stubby handle to go with them. I keep the set stored in the back inside the bag that the owners manual came in.
BTW you do not need to reinstall the nuts ever agian. Some people claim it makes them harder for people to steal I say if the jeep is locked (assuming you have the alarm) how do they get the door open to get the clearance neccessary to remove the door?
