resale value
If this is true explain why kelly Blue Book has mine currently valued at $14,500 for trade in value and NADA has the same at $20,500. I even emailed KBB to ask what the deal was and of course did not receive a response. What a surprise
.
I could see a thousand or two difference but 6 thousand. That doesn't even make sense.

I don't know, I have seen a lot of TJ's on the used car lots in the area. I am thinking with gas prices still high, the desirability of the Wranglers is dropping off rapidly to the soccer mom/SUV crowd. Eventually, this may kill the resale values.
However Kelly Blue Book says the dealer should make about 9 thousand from trade to sale.
If their resale value has dropped then it should drop all the way around, not just on the trade in.

resale has usually been okay, the gas mileage is one thing with wranglers but that didn't stop us from adding 35" tires to it
