Talking Return your Fenders to Black

I found out the Hard way like an idiot that you cannot put "armor all" on your black fenders. However I purchased Mother's "Back-to-Black" and it really brought that deep rich color back!

I've heard tire foam works well also. Haven't tried it yet. I tried the armour all and then stopped. I now have tried brand new oil (some 20W50 I had left over from my bike lol) that works well but I'm not sure anythign will stop the UV degradation of the plastic.

IMHO, Iv used Back to Black and it does do the job but, to me, seems to attract dust easily.
Iv been using 303 protectant on mine and it doesnt seem to collect dust as fast.

I've been using F21, it's in a green bottle, been using it since I got the JK. I generally touch everything up every few months if that.

303 Aerospace or Meguairs Gold Class Trim Detailer would be my choice for the fenders.

Default Forever Black is THE way to go!

http://www.quadratec.com/products/pr...lack&submit=Go

This stuff REALLY works just like it shows. Not only does it work, but it STAYS this way for at least a full year! The Hubs had a TJ, and the oxidized flares, were horrible. Especially with a yellow jeep, you could really tell when they got bad. They really looked grey, and not black. So, we tried this product, and let me tell you it's WORTH it, because it actually DYES the fenders back to black. Just be VERY careful near any light color paint, and wipe it off as SOON as it gets on there. But for the price (look around for it), two coats, and your good to go! Works on ALL JK parts like the mirrors & Handles as well.

Good luck!

Buddy of mine used a hair dryer and it work pretty well. Don't think it last a year like the person who posted about using Forever Black though.

I used the no touch tire shine foam stuff it works and lasts for like 5 washes with no mud.
