Default Rim Diameter Question

Guys Iv'e been reading alot cannot seem to just get it...I want
to buy the Pro Comp 7089 rims...I have a size 17" rim to install
BFG 255 75 17 tires...I need a 17 x 8 rim or 17 x 9 rim...
Not exactly sure,backspacing comes in play and only planning on a
2" lift only for future...Need a little help...

255/75R17 should be fine on an 17x8 wheel.

Backspacing won't be a problem. The wheels you have in mind are 4.5" backspacing (I think), which will put your tires about 1.75" further out than the stock wheels. Your jeep will look great with this combo.

should be no more than 3"s difference. Though all the old chevs and dodges ran the 16" or even 18" wide wheels on 10's. Just wears bad if you dont have the correct psi.
