Default Rock rails - recommendations

I found this on the curb... And instead of purchasing rock rails I figured I could just use this and make some.

Any recommendations on design and what would provide the best protection would be much appreciated!

I don't know how you're gonna use that to make rock rails unless you throw that away and start anew. I'll be waiting for the results. Please post build.

gotta agree, even if you get $200 for it you could use that and pick up some rubi rails on this forum..

would save a lot of headache.

How good are you at fabricating? Got a welder? You could make some add on rails to your existing rails but honestly your better off going aftermarket.

Truthfully, there is not much anyone can help you to do with this. It's a grill guard from a truck. Chances are the metal isn't of quality to be suitable for sliders.
