Default rock stuck in bead

i have a little *say 1/4 - 1/2"* really sharp rock stuck between my rim and my tire.... is there any way i can get it out myself easily without losing the bead? It doesnt seem to want to budge at the current psi i have the tire at, but i was thinking if i lower it some that might help... i just dont want to mess up the actual tire any.

If you lower the PSI, it should allow you to get the rock out, Just remember you might be better off losing the bead then tearing the sidewall.

I would take the wheel off, and let all the air out. Then you should easily be able to get it out with out damaging the tire.

I had the same thing happen with a small piece of wood. I tried digging it out and pulling it out with pliers with no luck. I finally had to jack it up to take the weight off the wheel and aired it down almost completely and that gave me enough free play to get it out andI didnt loose the bead either. Good luck.

air down, spray the rock with WD40, pop rock out with screwdriver. Air back up....
