Default Rocks keep cracking my windshield!!

So I had a rock hit my windshield about 3 months ago. I got it fixed and yesterday another one cracked my windshield! Anyone else have this problem or is it just my luck?

Relatively flat, upright windshield = chips. I have a couple, just get them filled in and wait for the next one.

In the last month, I've gotten two rock chips. In the last 5 years, I've got 5 chips. Forget swapping out my windshield until the cracks spread. They just keep happening....

First crack, 560 miles after buying brand new....

Second windshield, 500 miles after replacing, another crack...

24000 miles now... Still second windshield, still one crack... not going to replace until the state requires it. 8)

It's so flat you just have to get used to it.

Unfortunately for us, chips and cracks are just one of the added "benefits" of driving a vehicle with the aerodynamics of a brick.
I have 2 chips on my windshield, got the first one the day after I bought it.
As mentioned, just get it filled and wait for the next one

I just learned to live with them, and actually don't even notice they are there now...

its a jeep thing, TJs, YJ, and CJ etc all had the same problem

it gets even worse if you have a short bumper since you can actually throw rocks from your tire forward and then drive into them, atleast thats what happens on my Jeep
