Rolling soft top windows?
I see that many of the soft top boot kits have window roll bags.
I can not see for the life of me how this works as the side windows have hard retainer plastic on the door side and the bottom.
What am I missing here?
Cheers

I have been using a big blanket to roll mine up for a while, and it works great. Just lay them out like this (Borrowed these pics from another thread/forum)

Start Rolling from the back window

Roll it all the way up, and store it, I normally place it behind my backseat.

That is a cool idea, but I purchased the Smittybilt soft top boot (about $30) that keeps dust and mud out of the underside of the top when folded; and a window roll (about $75) that snaps around the rear roll-bar, holds all windows and sits on the boot, to give me room for 4 with the top off - just another option.
if you want to go for the roll-up idea and save some money, pickup a few sheets of felt from Walmart measured to the length of your windows. Sew one end of those sheets together so you have a sandwich of layers to protect the windows from themselves. Roll that up and toss in a heavy duty trash bag and then wrap sleeping bag straps over that. Can do this all for under $25/30 easy and its the same idea as the other rolls that go for $75+.

Yeah I got that window roll thing that has the multi-layer felt envelope of sorts that rolls up and then slides into the nylon bag which then clips onto the rollcage of the jeep and it just lays on top of the folded down soft top. I love it. It folds up real tight and tiny for storage, when I have the top up and windows on, but when I want to drop it all and go naked..that roll works wonders. Friggin love it!
