I'm looking into getting a roof rack for my 2011 2-dr JK. The soul and primary use of the rack would be to carry snowboards and skis. I really dont feel comfortable drilling into the hard top since a i have a color matched hard top and the rack will for sure come off once the weather gets nicer and warmer. I have also looked at racks that attach to the spare tire but i really dig the look of a roof rack. If i have to, i will get the one for the spare tire but i want it to be my last resort!
