A dude in my area has a set of rubi wheels and tires for sale with 3000 km's on them, he's looking to get $1500 CDN for them. Is it just me or does that seem a little high?

That's steep for used wheels & tires....From what I remember with my 5 new rims (Eagle Alloy 140's) and (5) Cooper STT's (33x12.5R17) tires I paid just under $1900 CDN including taxes (PST & GST) in spring of 08. Look around or bargin with the guy....if he does not want to move on the price...I would walk.

 

People around here seem to think they can get a fortune for wheels & tires or any other crap they pull off of their vehicles. I think even $1000 is high to be honest, they're USED. I'm gonna hold out and see if he drops his price, jeepers around these parts arent real nice to each other. You guys in the U.S pretty much give your stuff away compared to here, its times like this that I wish I lived there lol. On the bright side I did manage to find a set of brand new rock rails off a rubi for $175!

 

think about it, for 1900 u can get new rims and tires, maybe spend a few more bucks, but with no tax and free shipping most places im sure you could find a better deal

I got the 5 wheels and tires, a set of rubi rock rails, and complete suspension for $1200 from a cool guy in Alberta.

 

Nice! I lived there up until last year. It was the same way in Fort mac as it was here though, everyone wanted a fortune for their take off's. I checked out Kijiji for Mcmurray yesterday and all I could find was people trying to get $1200-$1500 for their wheels and tires both rubi's and saharas.
