Default Rubicon Bumpers

I really like our 4d Rubicon----But the bumpers are a joke, the rear is all plastic and the front is not much more. Jeep engineers need to get out into the real World.

It is easy to put a crappy bumper on when that is all you know. They were counting on the aftermarket to make a good bumper.

I like the bumper. Even more I think it is great that every time I bang it up, I can come on here and get a free replacement

the dealer installed my mopar bumper, when I went to pick up my jeep, I asked about my original bumper and they told me it was already in the trash, that got me a bit upset, so I told them to go get it so I could take it with me. I had to go dig it up with one of the mechanics(it was actually in the trash) so i took it home with me, now I wonder why I did that, since it's probably going into the trash again one of these days.

They're going for reduced weight to improve overall mileage. Pure and simple.

I surely wouldn't consider myself a soccer mom, but you are entitled to your opinion.

Personally, I would rather put my money into other mods before the bumpers- but that is just me.

surprisingly they do the job when struck by a fast moving dodge neon.. I have a mopar rock bumper for the front now,, for the new JK but the stock one did what it needed to do.. and when you know making these that 95% will never see off-road it be a waste for the factory to use the precious steel wasting it on celebrities or wannabees in Hollywood with 22 dubs...

I would have kept my stock front bumper longer. But there were too many trees, too many rock and too much tire rubbing to keep it.
