Default Rubicon Moab Tires and Wheels

Hey guys,

I need some expert advise please.

So I am looking to pick this up for my rig in the next hour. (For starters):
http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/pts/1746086568.html

In this guy's description:

tire size is 255/75/17. 90% tread on 4, spare 100%

First question:

Is this a good price?

Second Question:

How do I confirm it has 90% > tread left?

Anything else I should be cautious about when I pick these up?

Please let me know!

Thanks,

Pluke.

I think that's a very good price. I'm going to ask $800 for mine when me new wheels/tires get here. Find a tire depth gauge or micrometer and measure the depth of the spare and compare that to the 4 other tires. That is the percentage when compared to the spare?

sold mine for 700$ with 10K on 3 and 15K on 2. looking at the picture I would say they still have a lot of tread. If he recently took them off the jeep you could look at his odometer.

you can tell if the spare has not been driven, and just compare. i paid $800 for mine. about 3000 miles on the tires, but the rims had some pretty good rock rash. i thought it was a little high, considering the rash on the rims, but went with it anyway. i wasn't going to buy new tires any cheaper, i didn't want to wait around for the deal of the century, and i kneo rock rash was emminent... pleased with my purchase. i'd say if the rims have any rash, just be sure the weights are there, and look for any "chunks" out of the lugs

Default wheels & tires

I am currently going to sell mine with about 5k - 10k miles for 5 and would take $500 and would throw in a deal on the wheel spacers also.
