I had the same question and after talking to a few different shops including Mel @ Off Road Evolution, I've decided to find a bone stock X, a 4x2 even, and upgrade from there. I like the idea of being able to hand pick my upgrades and ultimately build a stronger Jeep for nearly the same coin as a Rubicon.
