Default Rugged Ridge mirror relocation bracket. Issues???

Has anyone had any issues with the Rugged Ridge mirror relocation kit? Other than it looking stupid with the doors on. I am concerned with it turning into an invitation for rust. Any thoughts??? thanks

Other than the standard 'you can't see out of the right mirror' which is completely true. I haven't had an issue, I've had it on almost a year and still looks brand new

I bought a second set of used oem mirrors. Now when I pull the doors, it's 5 min to have full size oem mirrors on the pillar. With doors on, I just put factory bolts back in the holes. No black disc on my door, either. Money we'll spent.

I've had them for three years now. No problems. You will lose about two-thirds of the passenger mirror with the doors on. No problem if you drive like a trucker and track traffic. If you are one those people who only look in the mirror once in a while and then turn around!? To see traffic no problem either. In the old days most car did not have a passenger mirror. The black disc is not noticeable on a dark Jeep. It's very convent to just remove the doors like the old CJ's.
