Default Sad day..... bye, bye JK

So today, after a little more than 9.5 years, I traded in my JK. It survived trips around the country. It survived kid #1 while catching flak from soccer moms for loading and unloading him through the back window. It survived over 2 years never having the back windows on it, well until I moved to Nashville and had my first snowstorm inside the cabin. It even survived kid #2.

But now it's met its match...... Kid #3. Logistically impossible. Sorry jeep..... I'll own one again someday. It's been replaced by a Ram 1500 crew cab..... Just couldn't do the minivan.

I may be the only guy in America who likes minivans, I think they're comfortable, have tons of room 4 people or cargo, and have lots of cool interior gizmos.

Hell, I like minivans for the same reasons. Especially that new Pacifica.

I also can wear a pink shirt and not give a shit about what anyone thinks.

My problem is I have 9 kids. My wife drives a 15 passenger Ford Transit. It is awesome, though. Wish I could put that Ecoboost in my JKU. What a powerhouse! Moves the big van 0 to 60 in 7 seconds flat. Unreal.

Frankly, I'm disappointed by the association of mini vans and pink shirts. I wouldn't be caught dead in one of the two ( the other one is fine).

Ha!!! I wear salmon colored shirts.... Typing it makes is sound worse than just saying pink. Lol

I honestly love mini vans when we go on vacation and rent them. But I just couldn't do it when I sat in one with the thought of buying as my daily driver.

The JKU was too tight across the back seat with the 3 seats. They're all young. I'll be back in a few years, likely with whatever the successor to the JK is.

I've done the mini van thing....not my thing. as far as pink t-shirts goes I'll wear one if it for breast cancer awareness or something but you won't catch me in a plain pink "T" otherwise.
I have a JKUR and I need a 2D jeep.....I'm trying to not take the kiddos with me...LOL (damn teenagers).
