About 2 months ago I noticed a nice new Flame Red 2dr Rubicon show up in the parking lot at work. Never have been able to find out who owns it but once I thought I caught a glimpse of a female driver.

Anyway, the sad part...

Like I said, the Jeep has been around for 2 months. I've never seen the top off , certainly never the doors off , never seen it dirty and sadly no mods in 2 months.

I'm going to make it my mission to camp out and find out who this poor misguided soul is and take them under my wing!

Sorry but this part bothers me a little.....First off, in this economy, many people are just happy enough to be able to afford a new jeep. Many, including myself, are not "made-o-money" and have a hard enough time just paying the bills, much less be able to buy the expensive mods. I've had mine for close to 3 years now and still haven't come close to being able to afford all the mods I want. Yes it's sad that jeep isn't modded, but I never knock any jeeper just because they don't have mods. Just wanting, and being able to own one, is more than good enough for me.....IMO

 

Relax man. Tongue was firmly in cheek with this post. Just havin some fun on a slow Friday afternoon and lining out a stategy to possibly meet a trail bunny.

actually ak4 is bang nuts on except the whole post is bothersome. i know someone at work that has a 4 door flame red rubicon, a 200'n'somethin lime green unlimited and neither have a single mod. i have never seen the top or doors off either but he loves his jeeps. he has owned many through his life so he says.

point is, who gives a flyin fuck what someone else does with their jeeps. you want an islander or mountain then shit, go get one. you want to rock it stock, do it. you want to mod the piss out if it, right on. you don't want to take off the doors or get it dirty, fuck it...........don't.

too many people pissing on other people's parades. bottom line is they are all jeeps and owners should be able to enjoy them as they see fit. they buy em, they pay for em, nuf said!!
