I got it - no problems thus far. But since this is my only bullet - how long can I sit on it before I really need to have it in?

 

I'm going to wait until I have about 5 or 6000 miles on it. It appears that all the problems happen before then.

 

Here I figured I was a terribly delinquent person because I too wanted to wait for a few thousand miles - both for any issues I might have with sales and service but DC in general.

I've got 1100mi and it went in this morning for a bilateral water leak over the doors with the soft top on.

I was going to live with the pinhole water dribble on the driver's side, but when it appeared on the same area of the passenger side, it's a symptom of an early problem and I'd prefer it addressed now.
