Securing Carseat
I figure if somebody needs a carseat that badly, they can have it - I'd rather they steal mine than drive their kid around without one. I'll buy another one.
And, if it's locked in place they might damage something trying to get it out, costing me even more. Let them have it.

I should have mentioned that I only strapped mine in because of the looks I got one day last year. It was in November of last year and a very warm day. I decided to take off the freedom top and doors and go around town showing off my new toy. I pulled out of the neighborhood headed for the main street (made a left) and there went the car seat bouncing out into oncoming traffic.
Lucky for me, I went out with no kids this time. Funny as hell, but I learned to strap it down.
I'm with the others regarding the go ahead and take it, I'll get a new one. My girls are old enough to sit there for the drive to get a new one.
