saw this tonight...curious if this is legal and has anyone purchased one?

 

Just looking at the price I can pretty much tell you its a warez copy...

OK... what the hell is a warez copy?

 

Warez is slang for "where is" it's a method hackers (mostly wannabe's) use to communicate the location (typically an IRC, or Internet Relay Channel) for a "cracked" or illegally accessible piece of software that either has been altered to no longer require the security code or includes a text file with a serial number or code to enable them to get it for free or for trade for another piece of "cracked" software.

And here I thought it was slang for the Mexican town of Juarez... figured maybe it meant it was an illegal copy made down south! Guess in the end, they mean the same thing 'where is' vs. 'Juarez'... = illegally made.

 

Actually WareZ means "software" in the Pirate community. but can be used to as a generic term to discribe other types of pirated media like movies and music.

 

Theres no way this ebay auction is legal..i've reported it as a violation.
