Seven month wait is over...
After waiting for over seven months I finally have a JK.
I placed an order on Sept. 30th and it never went anywhere. Jeff from Don-A-Vee gave me some advice and we placed an order with a second dealer in early February.
Two weeks ago our salesman said it was finally due to arrive, and of course, we were going to be out of town. We were leaving on Thursday and it was due to arrive Saturday. At the last minute I made arrangements with the dealer to install my stockpile of mods and to take the Jeep to have the lift and tires installed.
So while the family was tooling Disneyland all the modifications were being installed. We got home Sunday but the Jeep wasn’t ready until Tuesday afternoon. My wife and I sat in the car with the wet snow coming down and waited for the salesman to show up with our new Rubicon. He suddenly appeared in the lot, raced right behind us and drove it right on to the sidewalk in front of the showroom. We had not driven a Rubicon, and we’d certainly not even set eyes on our Jeep. We were absolutely stunned.
The other salesman walked out and the general response was wide eyes and one word, “WOW”. Everywhere we go we get the same reactions. For the first day I would literally break out laughing just driving it around town.
I don’t know what else to say. I keep trying to make up excuses just to run errands somewhere, anywhere, I just want to go drive it around. I am speechless; “happy” does not describe how pleased we are.
Cheers to all the folks that have the privilege of driving a JK.
This is literally the first time we saw our Jeep.

Well, I’m off to the mall then my daughter has a soccer game.
Take care folks,
Beel

She's a beaut! Congratulations! Frankly, I'm in awe of your patience... I barely made it two months, and then (thank God!) mine arrived.
You deserve it, and I hope it provides you years of fun and reliable service.

Nice Jeep though.
