Default Shifting into 4-lo problem

Ok im not sure what happened but when I was roll downhill I put the car into 4-hi then shifted the gear into neutral...then shifted the transfer case into neutral but when I tried shifting into 4-lo albeit I was going a little too fast I didnt realize my speed probably like 6-7mph I heard this pretty bad grinding noise...I then reset everything and tried it again and I was able to get it into 4-lo but when i put the car back into drive and I gassed it the car stalled with this crazy engine whoosing sound as if like a turbine engine was slowing down... I'm wondering If i totally ruined my 4-lo since 4-hi still works normally...I'm to afraid to try it again

Only two ways to know for sure: Either try to get into 4LO again and see what happens, or else take the T-Case apart or, better yet, bring it into the dealership and see what they can tell you... Good luck!
