Default Short Throw Shifter

IS there any chance or even talks that a Short Throw Shifter would be produced for the JK?

I had on on my YJ and I loved it

LOL, a short throw shifter has nothing to do with the length of the stick; it simply makes the shift pattern shorter... Less throw distance between gates to complete a shift!

My friend bought a short shifter for his civic (back in the day) and all it was is a shift stick shorter than factory stick by about 2 inches.

When you are bouncing around on a trail a shorter throw could mean more missed shifts. Not For me thanks.

Can't understand why you would want a short throw for your JK.
Back in 70 my HemiCuda came with a short throw Hurst with a pistol grip, but that's a different story. Tt was a 426 Hemi rated at 425HP.
Again I ask why would you want a short throw in a JK??

my friend has the hurst shifter that you always see on sale in the q-tec essentials catalog. It was in his Jeep when they met. He would have never bought it... but after driving my TJ and his(which were almost identical saharas minus color) the shifter was definitely nice. not sure why it helps with throw, but it does. I wouldn't change mine out though, better places for my money to go.
