Should I Bite...?
My Jeep's an '08 Unlimited X and I've done a lot of work to her, and I've just recently moved to Austin an have to adjust for city driving. My rig has been beefed up a lot, but it's got a lot of miles from commuting to work, an that caused a lot of problems, mechanically and financially for me...
My question is, should I trade her in and bite the bullet for a new 2013 Unlimited Rubicon? I would get at least $20,000 for a trade in, $500 military discount, and about a $2000-2500 down payment. Is it worth it?
I'd be getting the Rubi to make up for all the off road mods I did to the '08, and lay a good base to future mods that I have planned by learning my mistakes from the '08's. Also it'd save me a lot of gas an mechanical problems, as I get about 13mpg in city and 15 on the highway, and I'd be taking a bunch of stuff off that I'd put on the '13 that I don't wanna sell to a crappy dealership...
Need good opinions on this, cuz it's been bugging me nonstop for a month now...

GO FOR IT!!! you will not regret it. I bought a '12 and traded my old unlimited. Definitely go for it.

You'll have the piece of mind knowing that you gave a brand new vehicle with full warranty and way more powerful than your old one. The extra side airbags are a good reason too. Practically zero miles. Youve done your homework, you know what you want, and will be happy with it. What more justification do you need?
