Should I manually disconnect the Sway bar here:

Definately. If the rest of the trail looks anything like that at all, I would have disconnected as soon as I got off road. The ride will be smoother and you are already prepared for the obstacles.

The first thing you should do is get a a Jeep and then disconnect the swaybar for that trail.
