Default Should I trade my Jeep?

The chevy dealership by my school has a used silver 2007 JKU X with a 4" bds lift and new 315/75/16 dc mountaincat tires and wheels. Its a 6 speed so I don't think I would need to regear, but the prev owner may have The previous owner removed the carpet and bedlined the tub, looks like a good job. It has 63,xxx miles on it. I couldn't crawl under it to check and see what other suspension components had been replaced, but it seemed they did things right. As of now I'm driving a stock 08 x with 35,xxx miles on it. They're asking 29,000 for the jku. What do you guys think?

Sounds way to high to me. You can walk out with a new 2012 unlimited sport for that price.

There are benifits both ways. I would like the fact that your's has less miles. 4 door is a plus though, but like the other said, it seems a little steep. You can get a new one for less and spend the extra you save on some mods. I got a base model to keep my payment down. I have not been able to mod very much yet but having a lower payment on a new one will alow you to mod how you want. I seen in your profile you already have some wheels and tires. If you go get a new one you can probly have them swap the wheels and tires and put a Mopar lift on for about that price if you get a base model 2012. Either way its up to you and if its what you want then rock out.

For that price you should look into the 12 sport new interior and the new pentastar engine plus how well can you really trust someone else's work. And if u buy the new one you can do all your own work, I mean that is half the fun of owning a JEEP

I was thinking the price seemed steep, but I hadn't looked into jeep prices much and I don't necessarily want to get rid of the one I have. I was just seeing what you guys thought on the matter and I appreciate the input. I'll most likely end up keeping mine and getting a 3-3.5" lift put on early this summer. I need to change my profile around though, dad trumped me out of the tires and wheels and put them on our '71 chevy pickup haha

29k is too steep for an 07 with that many miles regardless of the lift and other mods. If it was a hemi swap.. Then well yeah 29k would def be worth it.

picked up my new to me '07 JKUR with 27k miles with RS-E front bumper, winch, 35" tires, 2.5 tera flex BB, and some other small godies for 24k 2 months ago. The lift on that silver jku ur talking is nicer but i dont think it adds 5k to what it should cost.

Thats almost 10,000 more than what it should be! You can get a 4 door Rubi with half the miles for 25. Avoid it. Mod what you got for a fraction of the price.

That price sounds way too high for an 07 with that many miles. I would say low 20's....

As others are saying, Too much money.

Point of reference, I picked up a Certified preowned, not even a fart on the seat, 09 unlimited Sahara dual top, automatic, towing package with 28k miles for $24k FROM A DEALER Last July. How much is the lift kit and other parts worth? Not that damn much!

A dealer near me has a 2010 JKU 6 speed around 40k miles with half doors, a winch, rock rails, on a 3.5" lift, 20" wheels with 35's (I think), good shape, no scratches or dents--used but not beat. ASKING $22,900 If I couldn't drive it home for high $19ish, I'd be surprised...
