Default Side mounted spare on a jk?

Anyone ever found a way to mount there spare wheel on the side of the JK? I love the way it looks on the old CJs and they did it on the JT concept but i was wondering if it was possible to do on a JK 2 door?

thoughts?

Without serious reinforcement the jk sheet metal is far to weak.

Plus everytime you look in your side mirror there is a BF Goodrich trying to pass you!

LMAO...
I don't think it would hold on the side, plus it'll just make you wider.

With proper rack it would be possible...good idea. I hate not seeing out the back window.

If you take the cover off that storage bin thing your spare tire fits nice and low behind the seat and doesn't block your view.

Good luck with any type of rough road, speed bump, curb, trail, etc. I kind of like my spare secured to something.

Ya...I font know if that would be for me, Could you imagine mounting a 40 inch tire and wheel combo of the side of your Jeep. I see oversized load written all over that...

I have enough trouble getting my spare onto the back of my jeep already. Lifting it overhead would be insane!
