Does anyone put silicone on their 3 Piece Freedom Top to help protect the rubber seal and to help keep water out?

I use to have a tacoma truck a while ago and dis this on the boot between the cab and the snug-top.

 

DOW 101 is found on amazon.com. it will keep the rubber in great shape plus it will stop the top from leaking,no question. if your back window leaks it is most likely from the electric wires to the wiper motor getting between the window and rubber. more thn you asked for.merry christmas
