Silliy question...
I don't think combustionablilty is the problem. In the heat the pressure will build and that might become an issue. The bottles are supposed to be hydrostatically tested and good for 10 years (normally) and here in the Mojave Desert summers get to 120 F and we have a lot of equipment with externally mounted extinguishers as well as pressurized trigger systems and have never had a problem. The only issue is if the cylinder gets too hot to pick up for use and you grab it without thinking - we've seen some at the upper 140swith a heat gun in the sun. We also have a problem with eye wash portable stations getting so hot you can burn your eyes using them if not kept in the shade.
I've seen fire extinguishers become so hot that they crack and spray everywhere but that was only in buildings that were on fire. But I have never seen One explode with enough force to do any harm. But if they are just sitting in the jeep or out in the sun you're good. I have a type A and a type B C in my jk with a black interior and I leave the top down and doors off out in the dirty south heat all the time and no issues yet....good luck!
Your local Air National Guard unit has KC-135's that sit outside in the sun. They have fire extinguishers inside. No problem with those.
