Angry Sirius

OK... so all our new JK's came with Sirius Subsriptions.... I was over the moon... I could get BBC Radio 1 - a real radio station with great DJ's and awesome music....not that crappy cookie cutter stuff....

then... a month after I get the Jeep.... the a$$holes pull the channel and replace it with 70's disco ....with NO warning or apology....

Please help put some pressure on Sirius to get Radio 1 back!

This isn't just about Radio 1.... it's about Sirius turning into Elevator radio..... this monopoly needs to get a bloody nose! The consumer has paid for a product they no longer get....

If you don't have a Facebook account you can sign this petition....I Want My RADIO 1 - Bring Back Radio 1 SiriusXM

BTW...I perfectly understand if you prefer 70's disco ....I think they have room for both... I am asking for support....not trolling for a war of pop vs. disco or painted hard tops and fender flairs

My 2010 did not come with Sirus or XM, just regular radio & CD.
I've had them before and hate the automatic credit card billing and sales pitch anytime I delt with CS. Turns out that if you put the subscription on a card that will expire in a couple months they can't automatically renew you after a year. They will turn off subscription since they can't bill expired card. Subsequently they will call and try to get you to renew. Ultimately I was offered a cheaper rate that would be good for several months and no auto billing to a credit card (I hate that) I still turned it down even though I hate regular radio, I hate high pressure sales tactics more.

A Note to BBC Radio 1 Listeners
BBC Radio 1 is no longer available on SiriusXM. Many of the songs heard on BBC Radio 1 can be heard on SiriusXM Hits 1 (Ch. 2) or 20 on 20 (Ch. 3), Alt Nation (Ch. 36), The Heat (Ch. 47) and BPM (Ch. 51). For a British perspective on the news you can listen to BBC World Service (Ch. 118).

which is NOT the case....I can play the same 20 songs on a loop on my mp3 player

As a 7 year subscriber, the service has only gotten worse from year to year. Started out with a ton of channels and then slowly dropping them one by one while also slowly droping sound quality.

I think when it comes time to renew I am going to try just using pandora for a while.
