Default Sloped Ceiling with a hardtop hoist

I'm looking into getting a Harken hoister for my 2 door hardtop. I've got the space in my garage but my only concern is that my ceiling isn't level. It has a slope. Has anyone done this? Or does anyone think this would work? In my mind it seems like it would level itself out and the rope would be longer on the high side but I'm not the craftiest so I figured I'd ask the experts.

The attachment point shouldn't matter. As long as you have space to lift it in it should lift straight up. Just my op.

Did you ever try this hoist on your sloped roof? I have the same situation so I'm curious to know if it worked out for you.

I have a different lift for my hardtop, but I have a Harken hoist that I use for a roof top tent to get it off my trailer. I would suggest that it will work fine, but might take a little more time to set up as you're gonna have to tweak the lenghts of the lines that are through the pullies. Think about mini blinds and how you can lift one end without lifting the other if you pull the right strings. When you get one delivered, you question how you spent so much on pullies and cord, but it really is a nicely packaged system. Even in it's simplest application, it took a while to get it perfect for my tent on an even ceiling (trying to get it as close/snug as possible).
