Normal price is $750. I got it when 4WD Hardware had a 25% off sale. Brought the price down to $562.

Wow! $750 regular price for a winch with a compresor, that's a pretty good price!

I have a LOD front with hoop. i wonder if i would have the same issue. Can the receiver box be turned around putting the fitting behind the hoop?

Yes, but you'd have the wiring showing. It comes out the back of the box. Then you'd either have to attach it to the right side of the unit or use the straps that mount over the center above the cable.
