What winch did you end up going with? 9.5 or 10K? It looks like a perfect fit...Also, how tough was the install? Looking to do this myself, but have never installed a winch before, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I think it's a great updated version of the XCR-Gen1 as it is not that bulky and comes with OEM fog cutouts. The instructions said some drilling might be required on the mounting holes. Drilling them out to 1/2". I did not have to do this on my 2011.

Default This Armor is Great!

Order it Tuesday, got here Friday, and installed in about 1.5hrs on Saturday. Couldn't be happier ............. unless I had a winch

That will be coming soon. think I am going to go with Smittybilt X2O-10K with synthetic rope...however, they are on back order for like 3 freaking weeks!

Anyway, I definitely recommend it!

Nice! Where you able to get it for $580? Last time I checked, they went up to $699 on Amazon.

Yup. $580. Glad I didn't have to pay the $699 price, but I would have, haha. This bumper looks amazing! As soon as I put it on my wife came outside and was like !!

I think with the hundred bucks or so that I saved, I will probably buy the Factor 55 Pro Link for my future winch lol.

BTW, the link above still shows $580...and thanks for sharing it!!

KEEP CALM and JEEP ON

I checked the material of the plates and they are plastic. Not sure that will help if you don't like the styling anyways.
Can the skid plates be removed? Do you know what the purpose of them is? Do they look ok or do they make it look cheap?

Thanks!
