Default Snow and 35's

How do lifted JK's on 35x12.5 MT/R's handle in the snow? I have seen a few Jeep's at work change to smaller tires. Is there something I should've thought of before selling my stock tires????

I tried doing a search.... but using MT/R and snow didn't get me far.

Thinner and taller usually handle better in snow. Not much handles good on ice

I have 35" BFG AT's on my Ram 2500. Get pulled around a little in slush, but the truck is substantially heavier than my JK. I have plenty of experience driving in the snow as i lived in Michigan's upper peninsula for 7 years.
