yup, I agree....the JK LOVES to eat snow. I live on a back road that didn't get plowed (at least by 7:30 this morning when I left)...had about a foot of snow on the ground.....just drive right over it in my driveway and down about 1/4 mile....in 2wd no less....until I hit the plowed "main" rd. Went to Nanas' about 25 miles away to shovel her out, Then Moms' another 15 miles from there, then home again to shovel out MY driveway....No problems anywhere..this "ESP" works very well IMHO. I think my Jeep was pissed we were going home!

That is a great shot! What camera did you use to take the shot?

Photography is a hobby of mine (a huge amount of money invested in digital cameras, lens and equipment) and your photo is quite outstanding.

My regards,

have to agree with above, that is a badass pic. Almost good enough to be a xmas card to the tune of "on the way to grandmas house" or something....

I agree I love the way my Jeep goes in the snow, I only have one complaint...wipers. I have tried Anco winter and Mich. Contour but they both iced up severely, mainly the pass. wiper along with icing on the windshild at 25 deg and below the defroster on just the windshild plenty of air will warm up cabin great but outer edges of windshield ice up and causes the wipers to ice. Needs another vent on outter edges of the windshield. Other than that I love my Jeep in the snow.

This picture is sharp. Do you have a larger version of it?

Had just over 30 cm of snow the day followed by a bunch of rain, drove out to work on unplowed roads for 10 km I was the first on the road what an experience. the jk was great even in 2wd mind you i do have 4 studded winter tires. played arround for a while got stuck switched to 4lo no more stuck! only had one problem the snow packs in under the hood and in the wheels. after being parked for about an hour i found I had no brakes, the pedal would just go to the floor thought i had broke a line but as it melted and shook itself off the brakes eventually came back. very interesting experience and something to be aware of if you are out in the deep snow. anyone else had this happen.
next time i will definitly take a camera as i was speaking to a guy that was out shovelling as I passed that day and he said it was amazing to see the jeep plowing through the deep snow when nothing else was moving. The county had to use the oskosh to clear the road that day the snow was just to heavy for the regular plows. having lots of fun with the jeep this winter.

I grew up in Lake Tahoe......where it really knows how to snow. One winter we had a huge storm hammer us. Skiers from the flatlands were flocking to Heavenly Valley ski resort. It just kept on snowing. Before we knew it there was over 2 ft' in town. People were stuck EVERYWHERE. At the time I had a 55 Willys pickup, and carpentry was slow. I would just pull up to people stuck and say "Twenty bucks and you're outta there".....They couldn't get their wallets/purses out fast enough, and were gratefull to do so. I made $hundreds$ off that storm.
