I'm not worried about aftermarket. I'm worried about the stupid windshield defroster design.

That was the ONLY winter issue I had last year (I live near Minneapolis and that's the second coldest city over 500,000 population in the world - the coldest is Winnipeg, and both are colder than Moscow).

Get a blowtorch. I think it's a must along with duct tape and a hammer.

if snow and winter ruins something on your Jeep that you've installed, you probly installed it wrong, or failed to maintain part / piece. These things aren't just summer freedom machines, they whoop ass in the cold as well.

dress warm and barrel around town with the top down.. that's what I'm gonna do this winter lol, might even take the doors off once..

I say all this and when the time comes im probly gonna turn into a chicken shit.... guess it depends on how warm I can dress.

I have never really had any problems with any aftermarket part all my stuff has worked. My only problem is the front defroster, ice builds up under my wipers in snow storms.

I hear you on this one! Whoever engineered those defroster vents must've had a few too many the night before. They suck. Hard. I'd be interested in a possible remedy as I'm not a fan of not being able to see where I'm going during a blizzard. Other than that minor detail, I've yet to have any other issues with the cold and snow to date.

I am curious to see how the auto climate control is going to work in the cold, wasn't a option I cared about when I bought my 2011, but seems to work so far pretty good when its hot out.
