Sounds like an odd question, but it comes from what my wife said the other day. She asked me if I how much I liked my new JK, and I replied that I wasn't sure, since we wold take some time to get to know each other. Her reply was that I was driving the thing, not dating it.

Well... I think we are dating. I'm trying to figure out how it responds, its idosyncracies, how to be a better driver with it, what I can buy it to make it happer, etc. You know... when you realized the relationship was going to last.

So when was the initial get-to-know-you period over with you and your JK? Any notable event? For example, fo9r me and my TJ it was my firwt trail ride when I pin-striped the door with tree branches, and then later when my lab really started to love hearing "Wanna go for a Jeep ride?"

Unlike the months of try before you buy with my beautiful wife....
The Jeep was married to the day I signed the check, luckily so far no Jeep divorce...

 

I drive a work vehicle during the week, the Jeep only on weekends..... so I guess mine is more of a mistress than wife
