I used a wooden saw horse. This picture has hooks on the bottom but I didn't like that so I replaced the hooks with a narrow shelf.

I have these hook type things I bought that I screwed into the wall of our garage. Two each per door. I just hang my doors right on the hooks. No worry of them falling or getting knocked over.

I'll try to remember to take a couple pictures tomorrow to show you what they are. Bought them from the local hardware store.
