Default soft 8's

Are there any significant differences between the Cragar soft 8's and the Pro Comp ones I have seen in some catalogs? Anyone have a preference of one over the other? Why? Looking to put them on 33" Toyo MT's this spring. Thanks in advance.

Very popular style. They are both USA made wheels. Personally would just come down to price and availability.

Warranty:
Cragar - 1 year
ProComp - 2 years

Do you have the gloss or flat finish? Any regrets on the choice?

Procomps are alloy wheels. Cragars are steel.

ProComps come in steel and alloy. Depends on the model.

If he is looking at soft 8 wheel, the ProComp is a Series 97 and made of steel

I don't have this wheel....was just my opinion. I would personally choose the flat finish...but that is just me.

Hmmmmmm......never knew Procomp made steel soft-8's. I thought the only ones they offered were the 7069's.

I have procomp steel soft 8s in matte black and really like them. Originally wanted to go with the aluminum to keep the weight down but glad I chose the steels seems like they can take a pounding.

That sucks to hear...they are all headed that way, sad but true. America has become the land of the outsourced.
