Default Soft Top or Hard Top?

When is everyone switching to their soft tops? I up in Canada and we are finally starting to see some warmer weather.

I think I am going to switch to the soft top? Thoughts? Or should I just leave the hard top on for now?

In Nova Scotia we are a month away from soft tops. With the JK being built next Tuesday, I'll be awhile before I use the soft top. I try just popping the fredom top's two front panels and see if that does it for me.
I'm 62 so I keep the heater going for a bit longer.

I have already removed my hard top and am rolling with the soft top sown for the most part. On a side note…here are some photos of what I did with the top for storage.

3/8" x 2 1/2" eye hooks pre drilled into stud 5' apart and 4' front to back...$8

Purchased 4 ratchet straps with wide rubber coated hooks on both ends…$35

Used a military sleeping mat between the top and the front panels then one more ratchet strap to secure them into place…$7

All in all it took about 1 hour to drill then re-drill the holes after I screwed them up, and about 30 min to bring the top up to the ceiling. I have had it up for about four weeks now with no problems.

I'm already topless in SoCal!

I know, I'm sorry, I just couldn't resist.

I'm in Ohio, and I switched to the soft top last week. Still have not had it down, but I'm ready as soon as the wam weather arrives. Its been in the 50's here for the last week. I love my hard top during the winter, but I can't say I'll miss it much once the weather breaks.

I'm in NC and I just switched mine out last weekend. The weather has been warm enough for top down, but now it's raining everyday. So far (knock on wood) no abnormal wind noise and NO water leaks!
