what ever oil it recommended 5w20? non synthetic and then I kept using the mopar filter still same issue.

Some of the 2012's have a machining issue on the driverside cylinder head causing a ticking sound. its fairly well known and is a warentee issue.

I paid 23k for my 12 two door sport S. no compromises. Got everything I wanted. Power windows, Dana 44, and what not. Soft top. But I like the soft top better than the hard because I take it down a lot.

Also had mine for a year 11k miles. No engine problems whatsoever. No ticking. My intake whistles if the engine gets too hot. (Low speed high rpm offroad) But it goes away when I get on the road and it cools down. I've never replaced my filter so it's probably full of dirt. But the engine problems were less numerous than it appears. You don't hear a lot of people talking about how they have had no problems. All you hear is the bad haha.
