Default Sometimes I miss my JKU

I love my '12 2 door, but I sometimes miss the room in my previous '07 jku. I've had the '12 since January and I only have 9k miles on it, so it's still worth a good amount of money if I wanted to trade it in. I could get a new jku sport for about 27k after trade in and then start over on mods. All I have is a 2.5 inch RC lift with 285/75 nitto terra grapplers, so I'm not losing too much money. Any advice? I don't have kids, but I do have a fiancé and an 80lb dog that loves riding in the jeep. He's a little pissed that he no longer has a rear window to stick his head out of. Bottom line is I miss the room, but not sure it's worth it. Opinions?

In my opinion, I wouldn't have any vehical without 4 doors. But it all comes down to what you want. I also know that it sucks paying on a vehicle you don't really like.

It's not that I don't like my jk, but buying another jku has been crossing my mind lately. The extra room is definitely nice and my '07 jku felt like it handled better due to the longer wheel base. Thought I'd be fine without the extra room when I bought the 2 door, but kinda regretting it a little.

I have a 13 2dr. I love the thing. This is the first jeep I've ever owned. When I was looking I had text drove a 4dr and really liked it but due to payments/trade in/etc I went with the 2dr. I don't have kids but I do have 2 pups and I usually have people with me whenever I'm out or wheeling. I can say I will down the line go with a 4 dr ( especially if their is a diesel model). Just my opinion.

I really do enjoy driving it, more so than my 4 door, but there's still those times when I wish I had more room. I wish I never would have owned a 4 door because I wouldn't know what I was missing. Yeah, a diesel would be nice but who knows if that'll ever happen.

I traded an 08 JKU in for a 12 two door. It's just me and my wife so the 2 door works great. The 4 door was nice when people wanted to ride with us.

Not the same. The back seat is out a lot with the top off.

There's a jeep dealer a block from my office building and I had to talk myself out of going on my lunch break today. *sigh*
