ok so lookin for a jk and i found a 2007 2 door rubi and when we looked at it it looked amazing! steel blue metallic color and clean interior hardtop everything! even had an intake and an exhaust and new BFG AT tires...when we went for a test run and asked him to shift into 4hi and 4lo to see that it works he had some trouble getting it into the gear and it like it took a couple tries. was this because he was stopped completely? im new to this nd learning as i go dont hate pleasee
hes askin 19k for it but im sure i can talk him down he did get into a fender bender and he also hit the back bumper but both not too noticable it has 87k miles but he claimed it was mostly highway and it wasnt offroad too much even then the werent hard trails. any help?

Keep shopping. I waited....and waited because I knew what I wanted and knew I wouldnt be happy unless I got what I wanted. It also depends on what types of activities you want to do with your jeep. If you think you might get into hard core rock crawling then you might want to wait for a 4-door Rubicon that has the lift and some after-market stuff already done to it. Otherwise, you are going to be paying a fortune getting it where you want it. I bought mine with lift, wheels, bumpers and some extras already on it. And, I have had it just for about a year and a half and I have put probably over $10,000 of my own money trying to tweak it. Yikes! Im telling you, these things are addictive and they can empty out your bank account quick.
haha well the offroading isnt gonna be too hardcore and i wanted a 2 door just cuz it smaller and i love it!. i would be goin fishing hiking and camping alot nd need it to take me where i want it so a rubi would have done that job more than perfectly and yeah its gonna b a DD so the one i found fit the criteria perfectly...i still have yet to find any other listings for one
Have you tried your local car dealer and talked to there used car sales manager they have access to the car auctions all over the country and can find you a great deal and best of all they do all the work on looking for it thats how I got my JKU
Offer him $14500.
