I am running 285/75R17 BFG KM2s... so of course I wanted/needed one for the spare... I have 17" KMC Enduro wheels. The total weight comes out to about 88#... Should I look into getting a rear tire carrier? I am 16 and can't really spend a lot of money... I am looking into bumpers right now and really need to know if I need to get one with a tire carrier.. I really do not want the tire carrier.

You should be fine for a while just putting the spare on the stock carrier. If the rubber isolators are no longer in contact with the tire (due to a change in the wheel offset) you will want to put on extended ones (daystar makes them) to avoid vibration in the spare causing issues with the welds on the tailgate.
