SpiderWebShade- A comment on a real stand up guy
I posted this in the sponsor and vendor forum as well- I just want it to be seen.
I ordered a SpiderWeb Shade yesterday and had it expedited for shipment today as I'm going away tonight to the OBX. I called to get a tracking number and Chris the owner answered the phone. He immediately sent me the tracking number and told me that the shipment wouldn't make it until Saturday. I was upset because I'm leaving tonight so I won't have the shade in time. I just found out about this product yesterday, otherwise I would have ordered way earlier. BUT not only did Chris refund the next day shipment cost, he went WELL ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT WAS REASONABLE. Suffice it to say that if his product is anything like his customer service and his sense of responsibility, this product will have to be fantastic (which by the way is the reputation). I thought what he did for me was too much and I told him that, but he was insistent on making things right. I have never given a recommendation to a business as strong as I hope this is coming across. I am not just doing this because of the deal that I ended up getting but rather because I find it pretty rare these days that a company is willing to make things right for their customers rather than making excuses. To Chris, I hope you see this, you are truly a stand up guy who stands behind his company and the promises made by employees of the same. I hope I have occasion to purchase more from you and I will surely recommend you to anyone looking to do business with the kind of company that makes this country strong. A little over the top? maybe, but when you find a company that does what it says it will do until circumstances prevent that and do what ever it takes to fix it, all I can do is cheer Rare, rare, rare.

I actually am considering purchasing the SpiderShade. And although the company is great and all, are you pleased with the actual shade product?
You will not be disappointed with there product. I have been using the spiderweb shade for over a year now and for something so little its one of my best investments on my jeep. First time in the sun it paid for its self more then 5times. Ths sun does not penetrate thru the web and burn the hell out of you. You are going to love it enjoy.

I have had mine for about a month now and love it!! It was in the high 90's in NY this week. My JK was in the sun all day while I was at work and when I got in, I didn't burn my arm on the center console. I also wear glasses with transition lenses and my lenses still get dark which goes to show that the light still comes thru. The best way to explain it is... The wind runs through your hair and you can enjoy the sun without baking in it.
Chris, customer service is just as important as product. The product could be the best in the world but what people remember is how you are treated when you have an issue. Great job!!
