Friends were awakened when their neighbor'sJK burst into flames this morning around 4 am. It had not been driven for a couple days. Fire quickly spread to the Nissan parked next to it and would have spread to the house had the fire department not intervened. Apparently no sign of foul play. Anybody heard of a similar incident?

 

I recall a thread involving a similar incident a few months ago. In that case the op made reference to keeping a phone charger hooked into the all time powered outlet in the center console. Whether that was ever confirmed or not i can't remember. I've also heard pre 12 models catching fire when debris got caught between transmission and cross member but that wouldn't apply in this case. Keep us posted on what you find out!
