Default Spray on temporary protectant?

I cannot imagine this exists, but does does anyone know if there's a temporary spray-on protectant that would protect paint against trail pinstriping?

In my perfect world, you could buy some kind of mild clear silicone spray that would put a thin layer of protection over your paint. This stuff would eventually wash off with wear and water, but would protect the paint for a couple of weeks for off-roading.

Is there anything remotely like this on the market?

I dont think anyone makes a spray on, but you can get thin clear vinyl sheets that would do the same. People use them for there front ends all the time.
