steering linkage failed
So i have 15000 km on my 2011 sport with 265/75/16 tires and all my linkage is just flopping around. Tie rod ends are all loose qnd worn out wtf?
Mine are still good with 16,000kms and 35s for 5000 of those kms.
Maybe the dealer will warranty them for you, if not they aren't hard to replace, heck you don't even need to lift the jeep to get to them.

Whats a good aftermarket setup that could take a little more stress than the stock junk? Maybe heavy duty tierod ends and a beefier stabalizer or something? Dont want to keep having the same issues in future. Im currently stock height but have a teraflex levelling kit waiting to go on.
When you say flopping around? does the tie rod bar itself move up and down? if so thats normal. i have about 30k on my Jeep and so far have had no issues with the tie rod ends
Both bars are really loose there is no stiffness in the tierod ends at all. Also i can hear and feel a clunking as i rock my steering wheel. When im on any rough surface it feels like my whole front end is loose. I know there is supposed to be some movement in the linkage but not that much. Im just wondering if it is lack of grease from factory that caused this or if there is an upgraded tierod end i should look into so this doesnt happen again.

Do you have the quick discos? I had that same problem after going off road and it all came down to me not tightening enough the quick discos base. Take off the quick discos bars and see if you still have the rattling noise.
Are you sure is your tie rod or drag link ? Have you had somebody turn your steering wheel while you check if there is any play on them ?
I'm not sure on the 11s but on prior models we have a problem with the steering shaft becoming cluncky due to a lack of grease. This will cause a lot of noise and "loose" feeling while driving. Also like it was mentioned before, up and down movement on the drag link is normal.
